Art Supply List – A Comprehensive Checklist
Whether you are just beginning to collect your arts and crafts supplies, or your current stock needs a refresher, this art supply list is a comprehensive guide! With over 50 items listed, I’ve included child-safe supplies that kids can use independently, as well as items for grown ups creating DIY projects.
Keep in mind that this art supply list is very detailed with over 50 items listed. Stocking up your arts and crafts kit, doesn’t have to happen overnight. And don’t forget about the oh so wonderful role of recycled materials that can be used in addition to and as alternatives to store bought arts and crafts products! Think: toilet paper roles, pouch tops, egg cartons, milk jugs, you name it!

Acrylic Paint
Acrylic paint provides rich pigments for creating beautiful keepsakes. This set includes 66 vibrant colors, including standard, glitter, and pearl colors.

Dry Erase Markers
This set of non toxic dry erase markers comes with 12 rich colors. They can be easily erased on white-boards, glass, and plastics!
Felt

Glue Gun & Sticks

The must-have paint for kids! It is washable and non-toxic. Can be used even for the youngest for finger painting too!
Tissue Paper
This tissue paper is perfect ofr artists! It is a verssatile color bleeding tissue and can be used on a variety of surfaces – canvas, wood, clay, and more.
Washi Tape
This set comes with 30 rolls, including solid colors as well as fun patterns. Washi tape is easy to rip and a great addition to decorating arts and crafts!
Watercolors

Twine

Watercolor Paper
This thick paper is perfect for watercolor artwork! It comes with 50 pages of 140lb paper and works well with wet and mixed media techniques.
Wooden Beads & String
Creating jewelry with wooden beads, or using them as an open-ended arts and crafts object is lots of fun too! We prefer wooden beads over plastic!
Yarn
