Tips for Making This DIY Astronaut Costume

Recycle and Reuse. To save on costs of supplies, use what you’ve got! A plain t-shirt that you don’t mind dedicating to this costume is perfect to use! Check your supply cabinet to see if you have bits and pieces of felt that can be used instead of a buying a new pack.

Space-Themed Patches. We love these space theme patches because they really made the costume look official! However, you could also save on costs by printing official images from the internet and gluing them to the costume instead.

Fabric Glue. Speaking of gluing, make sure you use a strong fabric glue so all your details will stay in place even after washing!
