printable number cards 1-20 hands on clothespins pegs

These printable number cards are a fun, hands on way for the kids to learn numbers 1-20. Read on to see how you can prepare the cards so that they are reusable and can even be used to strengthen fine motor skills!

Printable Number Cards That Last!

Sure you can easily print these out and use them one-time, but why not make them reusable so kids can play with them time and time again?! After-all, repetition in the early years is key for remembering and applying skills!

Making them reusable is so easy. All you need is a laminator. Luckily they are really affordable these days. Once these cards have been laminated, you can write on them with dry erase markers so that they can be reused and you can also clip pegs on them and they will stay strong!

Get The Printable Number Card Set!

This printable set of number cards covers numbers 1 through 20. Each card is filled with different objects to count and then locate and recognize the corresponding number. From dinosaurs, to marine creatures, coins, and music instruments, these cards are filled with different, vibrant images that keep kids interested and also learning new vocabulary!

Laminating the cards make them more sturdy for use with clothespins and make them erasable so you can use dry erase markers and wipe them clean. Not only are they erasable and more durable, but I also love that even if something gets spilled on them or they get set on something sticky, they’re easy to clean off and wipe down.

If your kiddo is starting to write their numbers, don’t miss our traceable number cards!

Start Learning Numbers Early!

It’s all about starting young, and repetition! Even when kids are babies you can count outloud to expose your kiddos to counting – as you walk up stairs, when you prepare food items, or even when you go on a walk – count the trees and cars you walk past trees or cars!

These printable number cards make for a simple way for kids to count and recognize numbers. Not only will they be able to visualize the number that they’re trying to count, but they’ll actually be counting picture objects, which is a great for language development!
